What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Contact forms

If you use our contact form or contact us through our email address we will retain your email long enough to respond to your questions or comments.  We do not currently retain an email list.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Payment Information

We use PayPal as our payment processor.  Their Privacy and Security policies are available here: https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/paypal-safety-and-security.

We will retain your email address and physical address long enough to process your order.  We do not have access to your credit card information.
